Bertha L. White is the President and CEO of Agent Of Change, LLC, Mental Health Services and Resources. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical, (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland and Virginia. Bertha earned her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Maryland-European Division while traveling abroad with her military family. She earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland-Baltimore.

With over 25 years of experience, Ms. White founded Agent of Change in 2009, to promote her vision of a premier Mental/Behavioral Health Agency in the Southern Maryland Region.  We exist to provide qualified support and interventions that positively impact personal growth and wellness. We recognize the journey to making necessary changes to overcome life's obstacles can be difficult, but be encouraged.

Ms. White specializes in: Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations, diagnosing, and treatment of a wide spectrum of Mental Illnesses and Behavioral Health conditions.  She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified Dialectical  Behavioral Therapist.  Often, the focus of clinical attention is past and current circumstances that don't meet diagnostic criteria. Yet, these circumstances still impact life with feelings of brokenness. At Agent of Change, we strive to support life that's more mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually balanced. We promote community organizing, advocacy, social awareness efforts, and program development, and are in partnership with community resources and programs. We also offer workplace seminars for employers and employees that promote emotionally safe and healthy work environments.
